Hi guys,
we plan for some camping and kiting on the pacific coast (north california, oregon) in about 2 weeks and was wondering whether there are locations where you can do both on one spot - i.e. a campgorund in walking distance from a kiting beach.

| Floras Lake-- great camping-- ride the flatwater on the lake in the am, then the beach right there (don't get eaten by the shore pound!), or better yet drive north to Whiskey Run. If you are really ambitious you can do a really long downwinder from Whiskey back to the lake. |

| you're going to be hard pressed to find any camping close to the coast this late... but anywhere you can get in should be good! |
