Has anyone been to SPI to kite in February. The wind data looks pretty solid and the water temp isn't too bad. Thoughts?

| I was there the end of Feb. You might want a 3/2 or shortie. Good wind. I remember there were 1000's of washed up Man-o-Wars on the beach at that time. I was told it's a seasonal breeding thing & if they're all over the beach it's not bad in the water. I never got stung but I guess it was bad a week or so before I arrived. |

| I dont have any advice on your question, but I am moving to Corpus Christi mid-Jan. A buddy of mine is headed to SPI mid Feb and I am going to drive down to meet. If interested in meeting up to kite send me a message. |
