I had to join monkeyboy on the recovery list, and had shoulder surgery the day before the cleanup. Keep those arms is when you crash (snow, water, whatever) The beginning of last season I went out for my first session and didn't realize the sandbar was different and ended up boarding over a sandy spot and slammed into my shoulder. I separated it but fortunately it was strong enough to kite - I just had to be very cautious with it for about seven months.
