warm water lots of wind. Bring a shorty an 7 to 13 m kites and you should be set. If the wind does shut down(rare) somtimes you can go to the coast but that requires at least a 4mm suit.

Bryan,

90% of the time the only kite I ever need to use in the Gorge during July is a 9m. I think last year out of 2 weeks there I only used the 12m once and every other day was the 9m. Basically its either on or off. Usually on.

Oh, and don't believe what that guy said about warm water, LOL!
The air temp will be in the 80's during the day but the water will be mid 60's depending on what part of the river you're in. And I've seen you layer up for alot less than that so you better bring the 3/2 fullsuit.

When the liquid smoke rolls in you are gonna want something smaller than a 9 unless you'd rather be sitting on the beach telling lies.

Yeah but last year wasn't that windy, I think it only blew above 50mph a few times and only used the 7m once
