So while the boys got skunked at SI and it died and went to crap at the Event Site around 5pm, we found ALL of the wind just east at Lyle.

We were just looking for sun and wind, but didn't have any idea what we were in for when we arrived. It was SMOKING.. summer style.

Just for kicks and since the girls have been too cold to get out and try them, I suggested to Joby that we see if there was enough to ride the 6's that we have recently got of the 07 Liquid Force Assault2's and Havoc's.

We had no idea of what the wind meter was saying until after.. but it was obvious when I launched the 6 Assualt with about 8" pulled in to depower, and was still litt up.. that it was very windy.

I rode for about 1/2 hour and then had to come in and grab some pics just so we'd have them. Not too often a 230lb guy gets to ride a 6 litt up on a wakeboard! (that would be me, not Joby)

The amazing thing was that Joby, maybe 165lb, was on his new Element 140 and fully powered, since he decided it would be a good test for the small Havocs on a pully bar!

Saw you guys out there and wondered how small the kites were. Only had my 9 and didn't want to get blown off the water! Nice work!
