No kite nights- but the Crystal Ballroom is one of the best spots to see shows around.

The whole floor is built on springs, gets pretty live.

there's a bar/restaraunt down on the south side of lincoln city. it's on the river (Siletz) and not within ocean veiw (E side of 101), but downstairs in the bar, the music's loud (live band), and the food is great. I can't remember the name, but they get really crowded...

Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, we are hosting our annual Kiteparty bash at the River City Saloon.
NWKite, Slingshot, and 2nd Wind Sports are playing host/sponsors.

Plans are still in the making, but so far, this is what we hope to have as entertainment for the evening:
- Kite video premiere
- NW Kite slideshow
- Shwag contest (yes this may involve alcohol and a shot-ski/brew-ski).
- Live music with Amery and his band (we're still working on this though!).

Keep an eye out for the event posting in April/May.
I'll get Phil the details and he will post the event.

Thanks
Pepi

The Doug Fir is a newer place that is awesome if you catch the right band. Small and lots of wood (Not the sausage party kind). It is also a hotel.

there are way too many to list. grab a weekly and catch the shows you want. Depending on the type of music you like you could catch some free/cheep shows often.

I did not know where they are available, sorry for the confusion.

Do you have some samples of your music or other bands you have played with? I have a variety of bands stay with me while they are on tour, so I know many different places to play.

Dante's has $5 shows on thursday
Sabala's also has had local acts (and national acts) Large venue
Tonic might be a place, small stage
Berbati's can be over priced drink wise, med stage
The Crystal is a very large room but the did have Lola's room but I'm not sure if they are still there.
Wonder ballrooom- never been but some great acts have been there
Hawthorne Theatre- never been

Other places too that are more specialized to specific types of music.
Check out Thrasher Presents to get an idea of what bands play what venue's. http://www.mikethrasherpresents.com/

I hope this helps, these are all in Portland.

is right in old town ,
they opened ,had some pretty high prices and have been closed every time I went by since
but looks like they open sometime or another ,prolly after dark
come down and liven the town up
better have something for the B. boomers and bikers
cause it's all retirees here
nothing like 60 yr olds with long straggly GREY hair
boozin it up and ridin thier hogs while the old MILFS loose the last of thier dough at the casino and hitchhike outta town
Best retirement location in the country for the last two yrs.(fortune mag.)
