Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade/adjust my bigger kites. I plan to keep my 12m Octane (which I really like) and may or may not keep my 17m '04 Fuel. To bridge the gap I'd like a kite with a decent range and some good high end. Something that'll work from 16-22mph. Basically, I want a money kite for upper teen conditions that won't freak me out if the wind heads into the low twenties. I weigh around 180lbs and ride a small TT (a bit over 130cm), but have a mutant for waves and lighter days. I'm considering a 16m Octane for the task or maybe a 15m Fuel. I've heard the 16m Octane is pretty fast and fun, but wanted to know what wind range it works well with and how it's high end is. Does it cover the gap to the 12m pretty well, and how does it compare? I imagine the 15m '06 Fuel is fairly similar, but if anyone has experience with either of these kites please let me know. I'm planning on an '06 kite since I don't want to spend $1500 on a big kite that won't be pushing my riding to the next level anyway.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe you should think of a 17.5 Machine. They are legit when it comes to light wind and they even have some high end to. I see a lot of people riding them in all kinds of conditions.

The Best part they are going for 499.99 complete on the buy online Slingshot store!

Check it http://store.sskiteboarding.com/

Sorry for the sales pitch but come on its a really good deal Exclamation

Cheers
Thumb's Up
