Some posts in the Sunday thread about monday (today) riding at Rooster.

Thought it deserved it's own thread....

So.... anyone going to try and get some today? I would be game and have some new kites to try out ('07 Liquid Force Havocs and Assault2's) ... just not necessrily into a COLD solo session.

Anyone?? I'd head out from HR if people are going to ride. Even have enough kites for others to try if interested.

These threads are getting very frustrating to read! I'm stuck out on the road for another week and a half, and you guys are hitting it! Sad Oh well, I'm glad someone is riding! Very Happy Hopefully there will be some easterlies around later in the month. Rooster on the 20th anybody? Very Happy

Super-nice, 62 degrees and sun, 7m and the skim, felt like spring except for that water - 40.8 degrees at bonneville- brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. First session in the 4/3, you could really feel it if you are in the water for more than a minute - not recommended - 10 minutes you might be done.

Shay where are "the" pictures.

Sorry Nak... But I'll give my report as well...

This was the first day of spring session! I have ridden a couple COLD days at the sandbar, HR in the past few weeks, which was winter kiting, but yesterday, with the sun and temps was spring!

I was in the 3/4 as well, and yes.. while the water was chill, you could warm back up pretty quick. By the end of the session and hike out- I was HOT in my suit... a very pleasant surprise.

I got there a bit later than the crew so rigged a 12m LF Assault2 and hit it with the skim. Lit when I started and then milked it until it was done.

Great to get out and ride in the sun! Maybe again today!
