I had the dubious pleasure of paying the new toll yesterday at Bridge of the Gods......$2 each way. When I asked where the 100% increase goes .... There is more traffic than ever crossing that bridge and that means more wear and tear. Wear and tear = higher maintenance expenses. It's not cheap to operate a bridge.
