Even if it did work ABS cement dries to a hard plastic. Not sure if you want that rubbing against your skin. |

Visit a dive shop and get neoprene cement. I use that with dental floss to repair my diving dry suits and wetsuits. _________________ "I have often regretted my speech, never my silence" ~Xenocrates |

Never tried contact cement but I've used aquaseal on a bunch of things, including my wetsuit and booties and it works great. Dries very flexible. |

I've had the greatest luck with "Seal Cement." It is a neoprene specific glue (although it works on lots of other things). In fact, it's time I got a new can of the stuff. |

I use about 2 tubes of Aquaseal per lifetime of each neoprene item (wetsuit, booties, gloves). As soon as there is wear I put it on, a must have for waterwear. |
