I tried one a few weeks ago and it was pretty fun. Its like a flexible (almost mushy) skim board with fins. very forgiving but not high performance. I tried it in chop and I don't think I would like it in waves.
Didn't feel like it was going to snap under feet like I thought it would though.
Good rails to grab and toss around. It would fit in a golf bag and you wouldn't have to worry about it getting damaged. I can see how some people would dig it.
