What was the snow like - any reports ? Any semi fresh pow in the trees or was it all froze up from the warm/cold flux? -C |

I got up there at about 9:30 and it was tracked out but I managed to get a bit of fresh powder in the trees. It was one of the best opening days I have had at Meadow's. All the lifts were open as well as Heather Canyon.
There wasn't that many people either, the main lot was full but HR lot only about 15 row's of cars or so. Over all I would give it a  |

Yeah, got there at 8:40 on Sat. Got over to Shooting Star, then to lower heather...and about 4inch of fresh on a bunch of older, mildly crust under... Still overall soft.
Sun. Way better snow but worse visibility. |

I literally got the first tracks in Heather for the season (aside from the trollers doing control work.) Saturday was better than expected, the crowds were minimal and the snow was good enough, especially higher on the mtn. There was a lot of debris in Jacks, and I went out towards God's Wall, which seemed to be covered in elmers glue instead of sno. |
