Windy vacation spot on the Oregon coast. Hoping to kiteboard April 4th, 5th, and/or 6th. Going with in-laws... Weather looks wet so the beach won't be fun for everyone. Recommendations on great locations with entertainment (fishing, restaurants, night life) with the forecast in mind.

Manzanita?
Lincoln City?
Florence?
Coos Bay?

looks like you'll have wind. pretty much any open beach on the coast will do for south winds. north coast: manzo, cannon beach, north of seaside, lincoln city would all work.

Looks like the Forecast weakens the further South you go on the Oregon Coast. Was thinking of Going to Long Beach WA for the weekend now. Maybe a downwinder along the Long Beach Peninsula. Anymore recommendations before I book my trip. Thank you!

It's fun and you can get to a couple of good spots. Oregon Coast is a bit of a crap shoot as far as spring. Maybe head out to the Gorge???

Booked my room in Depoe Bay for Friday and Saturday. Planning on going to Lincoln City to kite for the weekend when the wind is good. Never kited there and am excited to try my new Celeritas Board in the waves.
