Hey guys,

Anyone know if a spot near seaside or even further south with a decently clean wave on a southerly? I'm thinking there may be a spot with a jetty upwind to clean up the chop?

We tried necanium river mouth and thought it was amazingly good. It seemed like it cleaned up a bit on the inside when it was pretty big and frothy on the outside. I wonder if there is a full on flat water spot we could try, too?

Any thoughts? We always head to the same spots on coast and some variety might be nice.

Thanks
Kevin

Downwinders are great for southerlies, stay on the inside all the flat water you want

could be big and unruly at the coast this weekend 12' @ 13 sec - lots of water moving around - the wind can be good to inconsistent to nuked out - sometimes all at the same time - be safe

Saturday afternoon delivered an epic downwinder for the Newport crew on 9m, 10m and 11m kites. We have an awesome 5 mile downwinder from Beaver Creek to South Beach that was steady wind and chewy waves along with some unbelievable beautiful slicks on the inside at times. Sun was out the whole time, and warm almost balmy temps for the 2 to 5 pm session. Sorry no photos this time, just the story to be told.

We were riding at seaside. it was eerily sunny, but we weren't complaining. Amazing days so far.
