I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it yet on the forum. The biggest swell in decades is coming down the pipe in a big way. Looks like a 30-35 foot swell! Insanity will ensue! There are lots of forecast sites out there. Here's one to start with (Maui): www.omaui.com Check out north shore cams too. It all hits hard on Wednesday and Thursday! Almost didn't go because the rain and Southerlies were so intense in the morning and there were warnings of road closures and grid-lock. Turned out our timing was good and we hit the short window between the Kona rain storm, and the 40mph NW'erlies that came later and chased everyone off. Saw lots of great rides, carnage, and not-a-second-to-spare rescues. Laird's been quiet lately but came out and was shooting Point Break 2 with a full crew. I read somewhere they clocked a 60 footer.
