caught that westie coming through the gorge today. a bit unstable wind right in front of event site but nice texture on the water. a little bit of rain but that's what makes those cool rainbows Laughing
great to end my year of kiting in the NW with a session with ron at the event site.
finished off with some power shopping at 2nd wind sports. thanks Pepi and company for all the help.
See you guys next year, off to Baja for a ventana christmas.

Stringy is one of the most stoked people I have ever met. Kiting in december is nuts. Always enjoy Jim's post to remind me of the stoke that is the essence of enjoying life in general!'

Hi Jim, Walt and I got some Rufus action that day! Had to be 50 degrees as was Rock Creek yesterday! Best December kiting I've had. Not Ventana though. Have fun down there and maybe when you get back we'll have enough snow for some sled trips! Looking good today and tomorrow again! Merry Christmas!

Stringy is a great mixture of artist, engineer, and stoke Sensei all packaged into a truly nice person. Kiting is lucky to have him and his photos help all of us get through life a little bit easier. Smile Buen viaje a La Ventana amigo!

I counted 6 guys out at the Event Site on Saturday, and at least two out today.
Got to be some sort of record for December.

Not so hi-tech, just a zoom lens from up in town as I was too lazy to drive down to the beach.

We showed up just in time to see the squall blow through... Ron threw in the towel when he started to get lifted off the water... some poor windsurfer almost drowned off the sandbar, and a lone kiter on his Evo 9m happily kited through the whole thing... here's some pics my wife snapped...
