I wish harnesses would incorporate some kind of pocket that a small amount of items can be stored in.

Till this happens, I'll be wearing board shorts from time to time.

Ha Slingy, good one. I'm going to wait for the acid wash version with the painter pants loop to hold my comb. Laughing

Is that you out there on the webcam right now (230p) with the green kite? Wind looks great on IKite sensor but damn it's cold!

Hey airon,
That was me and rescue Ron doing the dalton express yesterday.
Someone talk to management, cuz the heaters broke!

No doubt! The never ending summer turned Holy Ball Shriveler Batman overnight. Rooster cam is smoke on the water right now and Stevie has rollers coming in. Shocked

From Temira...It's 36 degrees at Rooster. That’s above freezing, and I’ve been desperate enough to windsurf in 36 degrees before. What’s your degree of desperation? Expect 30-40 at Steven’s Locks today and 40-60 at Rooster, driven by an impressive E .22 gradient. Tomorrow looks similar. Sunday sees slightly less wind, but still enough to qualify for the 30+ forecast.

Buddy system with shots of Fireball afterwards to warm the nether regions highly recommended. Happy Friday you addicts!

Bring a warm waterbottle to pour in your suit before you jump in was always my method.

I was thinking of getting a gerbil to run around in my suit while I kite...

Something to keep me warm and distracted...

But actually, I wasn't cold yesterday, except my nose. 2 hours on water in the Patagucci R3 and a Kolkatat neoprene 1.5 mm top. 0.5 mm neoprene socks under my boots. And gloves.

Chris, who was the only other kiter out there for the duration yesterday, said he feels like it never gets any colder than it was yesterday, and he kites there all winter long, whenever there are Easterlies. Makes sense, this is pretty damn cold for PNW/Gorge

If you need help placing and or extracting your gerbil, you'll have a line winding around the bathroom on the east end of the parking lot with all the VS lurkers thinking Xmas came early.

Non-lurkers might see the line and wonder why Apple was selling it's newest iphone and or ipad at a state park bathroom.

Best just to use some hot water. Cold hands is what kills me on cold days and gloves are a catch-22 for me as they keep my hands warmer than without gloves, but they also restrict blood flow.
