It looks good Friday and Saturday, dead Sunday according to iKite. Where to go this weekend? Is Floras an option? What about Jones or the Ponds? I'm too new for the Gorge in these conditions but I gotta get out. Is Sunset beginner friendly?

Saturday at the coast doesn't look to be friendly to anyone regardless of your ability. Better bring your A-game or prepare yourself for a good beatdown!

What about east on Friday? Three Mile or Rosey? Not a great launch but nice safety inside the TM laggon.

It seems East is the call for this weekend so I'm hoping Rufus is a go.

Jason, Hood might also get a little wind so the Sandbar still might be a fun option to play around with and practice etc. Idea

I have business travel near Lincoln City on Friday. I was thinking of staying for a Sat session, but I am not looking for Gladiator conditions. I am unfamiliar with the OR coast. If I am working my way back north on Sat are there tamer locations I can check out?

No wind has materialized on the deep south coast for some time despite NOAA's best predictions. Lotta hopin' goin' on down here lately. All off-shore sensors were happening yesterday but nothing pushed into the wave zone. Rolling Eyes

Very weak forecast for floras. I wouldn't make the drive. Weak all around down here.

So you send your kite out to kite by itself in the winter time? Wink
