hope Viento was more magical than the Event Site. Flukey wind with a lot of south vs. west going on. It was fun for an hour, then got weird.

Yes, was nice to be powered on the 9, even if it was or only an hour. Tomorrow looks like Rufus or Arlington. Anyone going?

The wind was reasonably steady Wednesday afternoon from Rowena to Doug's.
With the super low river level, there was a lot of sandy beach along the shore just west of Doug's.
Has anyone tried launching there in the off season when the water was low?

Rooster put out for a Westerly today as well! I got there after it dropped off a bit, but it was still good for a Turbine/Glide session. Really nice. Buttery smooth, and I could even boost in the 10 mph gusts. Very Happy

Yeah, not exactly magical. Went to rescue my buddy's kite, blew up my 10. First time for everything.

Got back on the horse, lit on the 8m rpm from 5-6 at Viento. Sunset session

Lost my kite but got it back again

From what I've seen its triple-overhead (cost-of-living)!
