I should've tried moon kiting. By the time I got on the water at 10 it was 6m. by 12 I could've been on a 4m! Pretty scary walking the slippery beach back to my tie down with 30mph average and 40+ gusts. If the sensor hadn't been out I probably would've gone to Stevenson. The wind was super warm though and only a few windsurfers and one other Kiter. I just saw Nak has another sensor for the rooster area.

I use the bidder butte sensor on wind alert. It is pretty consistent and is much more reliable than the rooster sensor?? Was another good day. 3 of the last 5 days on the water and hoping tomoorrow for a 4th. Looks to be a little lighter forecast. Maybe the 10 will have to come out of the bag.
Thanks to the generous individual who left my rope and secured it to a bush but found it necessary to take the carabiners. You are one kind prick!! My bad or leaving it so I get what I deserve!! |
