Anybody kite Boardman?

Sailboard Beach or Port of Morrow Beach Park?

I have and wasn't much fun. The launch sucks, small beach and tons and tons of pokey round spike balls that love to ruin your kite. a bit gustier also. Just save the hassle and your kite and go to 3 mile canyon or Arlington. better wind and better launch at 3 mile. Arlington is a tough launch.

You just cant get away from those damn goat heads in boardman.

3 mile kicks ass. Awesome flats in the lagoon, swell on the outside. Never any kite traffic.
Bring a friend.. To save you cause there may not be anyone else there.

The round little spike balls are "goat heads". They get in your shoes your dogs paws and suck. Avoid.
