Is it safe to launch/land at the event site again? I think so. Yesterday, in the high winds there was frequently no one to catch your kite on the sandbar. For my own safety, I'll land on grass where at least someone can catch my kite. |

at the event site on the sign on the sidewalk, it said closed for launching and landing, but on the other sign in the grass it said sept 15-when high water recedes for launch and land.
so open and closed are both right. |

soon there won't be enough people to break the record. oh shucks...
but maybe we could do 100 people downwinder from Viento? hell, we had almost 50 for the Blowout, and Viento is way more doable.

Let me guess... the world record for line tangles was also broken on this day?
Anyone else notice the board leash hanging off His Majesty's harness? |
