Grant - you're work is stunning and you're one of the hardest working guys in he gorge. I appreciate and admire your business model and lifestyle.
the HR sandbar is for people launching and landing.
wondering if it's a good idea to encourage kiters to make multiple passes in the the shallow water adjacent to the sandbar....doing tricks and catching air where we have beginners trying to launch and land.

The HR sandbar (including the kiddie pools and shorebreak) is for much more than just launching and landing for beginners. And is much more than a place for schools to teach and make money.

It is one of the most interesting and unique places to ride in the Gorge and the world. High winds with glassy water plus waist-high curling shorebreak = SUPER FUN (and like nowhere else).

Every river user needs to be cautious, but it is unreasonable to expect people to not do 'some sweet slashing' in that area.

The coastal waterway slash tours will continue and will keep those areas clear for riding - not just launching, landing and lurking. - HR Coast-al Qaida !

Thanks ridercentral...

One of the most interesting places to skim in the gorge.

Keep shooting Grant. Everyone else keep having fun in spite of the fun police.

Grant and Co,

Thanks for the awesome photos! Pretty cool to see some of us amateurs in professional quality. Although, that back roll yesterday was way bigger in my mind and no where near as kooky.

Thanks again.

Great shots.
Nice to see Richard Hallman getting a session on the other side of the lens.
