Jones is solid 10-12m. I'm going out for another 1/2 hour then switching from my 12 to my 9. Where is everyone?

how is the wind out there. the gauge is showing it really wierd in the wind direction. currently it looks like it is out of the south which I suspect is wrong. It seems taht since the gauge was down last time the direction is really inconsisant. Is this true with the direction or is the wind gauge a little screwy??

The ospreys built a nest right underneath it. Probably sit on the meter from time to time also.

Ikite shows 18 mph at noon. Probably 25 at 5. I've kited 4 out of the last 7 days at jones and can't go today but its okay since I need to grow a few layers of skin on my hands. Does anyone wear gloves? Jones is so much better than the event site! I kited the event site Monday and it was literally 10-30 while Jones has a 5-8mph variation. It's perfect for lessons too. My lessons at Kite Beach on Maui were crowded and only half the sandy beach that Jones has.
