Just spoke to a friend on the phone about how he is trying to learn and has only gone out once... He told me he had bought an old C-kite and was flying it, probably about to be yarded to his demise. Marc (the Dangler) saw him out flying and told him what a bad idea it was, explained it all, ect... THEN and gave him a newer kite to borrow until he could buy a newer kite.
There has been a lot on the forum lately about flying old shitty kites, what to do with old kites, the ethos of selling them and all of that, but I've got to give props that this guy loaned my friend (who he had never met before) a better kite, thereby fixing the problem. Nice work keeping the beaches safe!
