Hey all...
I'm heading out to the beach today, but I'm not sure of where to go - either Ft Stevens or Manzanita. I'm sure there'll be plenty of wind at Manzanita, but I'd kind of like to get some nice downwinder action if it's good enough up at Ft Stevens.
Has anybody been up there the last couple days? Going today? If so, what are your thoughts about today? Here's the marine forecast...

I'd rather not go to Ft Stevens and be underpowered (12m is my largest kite, twin tip). I'm still a bit of a surf newbie, and I like to be fully powered (a bit overpowered?) in the waves.
Also, if I go up there, how likely is it that I'll be able to hitch a ride back up the beach, either with kiters, or general visitors?

ps - I'll be leaving soon, and probably stopping in Seaside to evaluate the conditions. So I may not be checking in for a while.
