CGKA - Windfest Windsurf/SUP DEMO Weekend @ Event Site

Just a reminder that the Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association is hosting their annual Windfest Windsurf/SUP Demo this weekend at the Hood River Event Site.

This means that they CGWA has paid for exclusive use of the entire Event Site for their demo vendors, clinics, schools and concessionaires.

The status of the Pump/Dry zone over the weekend is not currently known, but we are working on specific details and will update as soon as we get word.
Alternative kite launch locations within a stones throw of the Event Site are:
- Hood River Sandspit Kite Launch - this is just east of the Event Site by about 75yards and is reached via the Sandspit access road that runs just behind/around the 76 Gas Station at the back of the Nichols Boat Basin.

- Hood River Marina Beach - this is just east of the Event Site and Sandspit by about 150yards and is next to the Hood River Marina. You will access this via the Hw35 Exit off of I-84 (one more exit east of Downtown Hood River Exit).
