Im looking to get a kitesurf board and Im just curious what boards people like/dont like. Looking to use it primarily in the waves at the coast, I have a kiteboard that I use when not Im not in the waves. Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to nwkite. The site doesn't do brand-brand comparisons. Your post may get locked. Don't take it personally, its just the way things run around here. Someone may send you a PM or two in response, but if you're curious I would check out this link:

If you want to use a twintip in the waves: http://www.bellacerakiteboards.com/ These boards are literally amazing. Outstanding performers and works of art at the same time... Hand made here in the Gorge.

Demo some boards to get a feel for what you like, everyone is gonna like something slightly different and want something different in a board.

I picked up a cheap surfboard for 60bucks off of craigslist, its been great for light wind and gorge swell, and having spent some solid time on this cheapo, I have a better idea of the features I want in my next one. I keep on expecting the board to break, but its held up for quite a while now. Im not jumping on it though.

Good advice here. Since 2006 I must have spent $3K buying and trying the latest and greatest. Buy high/Sell low. In the end I would've been just as happy with sticking with that first 6' cheap thruster and never changed a thing.
