Will a 2012 Cabrinha IDS bar off a 12m SB work on a 2011 North Dyno 16m and have proper de-power and safety? Anyone out there know or can direct me to who knows this answer? I am looking to buy a used North Dyno that doesn't come with a bar.

Never mind. Not a good idea. Love the IDS Cabrinha system. I will look for a large Switchblade instead.

Not necessarily true. Sure, you'll probably be able to fly it. However are the safety and de-power throws compatible? If de-power throw is too short, the kite won't de-power all the way. If the de-power throw is too long, the kite could invert. Same with the safety line. Usually no problem if there is too much throw, but not enough throw and the safety won't work reliably. Usually you can modify the bar to make it work, but you have to know what the proper throws are.
