| I know the CGWA does donations thru Windance. They sell old gear and use the proceeds, does the CGKA have a similar program for kite gear? Liability issues?? |

Currently we don't have a program like that, but it sounds like it could be a good idea! We'll look into that. Thanks!

Great idea !!!
We could get people on more old gear and then have a full time person on a jet ski and charge people for the rescue!
Don’t mean to belittle the idea; just thought this scene would be funny. Anyway, used kite gear is like used rock climbing gear, if you know what I mean |

As it turns out, we do in fact have an account at 2nd Wind in Hood River, so used items could be donated to CGKA at that location. We're working on our Non-Profit status, so soon such donations will be tax-deductible as well.
