Anyone been able to makeshift something to put a Gopro on the kite with the 2012 Slingshot RPM?

There is no gap behind the middle strut.

Just wondering if anyone has figured something out.

Thanks

Hi, I have RPMs and some time ago I prepared a base that I used with tape on a strut but the problem was how far the camera was. Trust me, I looked too small in the video. I found out later on that you can use a line mounts (both for Go Pro and Contour). And you can place the camera at 15 feet for 720p or 15 feet for 1080 and it works awesome. Hope it helps. Safe rides!

I don't own a SS split strut kite but I have encountered this problem on the BRM cloud.
this is the new strutless kite so I have found it challenging to use a strut mount.
I did make a custom mount that allows me to do photos and video from the leading edge. I'm sure a custom setup would work on the SS kites.
I'm in the middle of a highly anticipated move that is going to keep me distracted for the next couple of weeks. after that maybe I can help you solve your strut mount problem. I'll agree that the rider does look pretty small from that perspective, but there is no better way (except maybe by heli) to capture an experience you want to share with others that shows where you've been riding.

What settings do you use on your go pro to take those amazing pictures? I bought a gopro 3 black 2 months ago but only have used it once. I got the line mount and others and looking to take some pictures not just video.

hi kramer,
I actually just used the default settings in interval mode.
I also do a little touchup work to the images in lightroom to "enhance" them
