Sunny in Kalama already so it should fire up better than yesterday. And word has it that it was good yesterday. Sans the line snap / jetski rescue (who was it...)?

It was good yesterday. And even better that the jetski ran fine after winter storage. Adding some stabil to the tank at the end of the season was a good call.

seems like the ikite predictions have been off most of the week or at least not predicting it to go off as it has been.

There was nothing particularly exciting about the rescue. I was about to launch my kite when from the corner of my eye I see something dancing at the pilings near the island. At first I could not tell if it was a kite or not, but then it popped off the water and I was sure. I wrapped my lines so the dirt bike rider would not run them over and launched the ski. As I launched the ski a kiter told me the guy was sitting on the pilings.

When I headed towards the pilings I saw the kite was free and moving down river. I continued to the pilings and found nobody there. I then went to the kite and found the guy was self rescuing and about to shore. Once I knew he was OK I went across the river to the windsurfer launch to retrieve his board. Luckily a windsurfer was able to get his board and set it on shore.

It all worked out.
