Hmmm, maybe a good SI kite for $10. Pre-octopus I'm pretty sure. Last edited by Wind Slither on Wed May 08, 13 10:56 am; edited 1 time in total |

Definitely pre Octopuss. This is one of the worst kites I ever had. I have a 16 in the attic. First, all of the valves came off on a warm day. Then, the leading edge blew with the weakest crash. You could find a much newer 15m SLE that would have as much power and actually stay in the sky. My 2cents. |

If I can buy a one time used slingshot t3 17m (great condition) bar included $250 delivered via ikitesurf classified. A person could do a lot better than that kite |

Man, that kite would be super fun "just out in a field" -- or in a gravel pit or blackberrry bramble...! |

I took a 20 meter Rhino (pre-everything) down to La Ventana this year because a friend had the great idea to give it away to some Mexican friends. What a pig! That thing was so heavy it was falling out of the sky when a modern 14m (2012) kite was flying nicely.
Oh, and of course that Rhino was so huge in the bag that it finished off filling my back hatch window of my car so I had no rear view for 1600 miles. Grrrrrrrrrrrr You need ALL your wits on mainland Mexico roads.
PSS.... My long time Mexico amigo in Barra de Navidad's first comment when he saw his "new kite"?:
"Ahora tengo otra sombrilla para la playa?" _________________ CGKA Member
