I made the classic noob mistake of acting before thinking when I altered my 5th element bar to be a 4-line system. It kind of worked but now I'd like to add the 5th line back but can't find any info on the Google about how it goes. Could someone who has one, take a photo of the Y section and how all those lines attach? or somehow give a brother a hand (and preferably not to the back of the head for being such a dope).

if you did not move the Y split up or down the line, all you have to do is run a line from the release to the kite where to two lines come together in the center and make sure the line length of the 3 lines from the Y up are the same length and all the tension is above the split. the 5th line below the Y should have just a bit of slack when fully powered. if you altered the Y up or down or removed and lost the center line(s) at the kite end you will have to get on the North site to get the proper lengths. good luck, hope that wa what you were asking.

I didn't move the y split but I totally changed how the depower line connects to the metal ring, and how the red ball connects to the blue line below the ring. The ring is the big question mark, I just can't find a good picture of it online.

does this picture help you?
you can see the red fifth line enters the loop and has the stopper on the rider side of the ring. this allows the fifth line to be loaded even when the kite is depowered.
btw what kite did you try the 4 line setup with?
