Just wanted to thanks Jon for showing up. I promised my wife I won't get in by myself. The current wasn't helping much by the time we got in. It was very light and with some big holes. Yet I got my first 2013 Sauvie session |

The wind was too NW yesterday to be good at Sauvies. Any time the wind comes over the burm you get issues; especially launching and landing. Also if it's too NE the trees on the other side can cause wind holes though that's not as drastic.
Basically you want wind out of the 320 - 030 range at Savuies. When I called the wind line yesterday it was coming from 280 or something so I didn't bother heading out. _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |

Agree. It looked too west for me to even check on the actuals. The forecast for today is pretty good, but it sure doesn't look like a "SI" day out. I mite go if the actuals look good later. Later in the week for sure. _________________ Lets FLY |

Oh, and I'm happy to post too, but I don't get out nearly as often as some of you! |
