| This Saturday April 20th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, The CGKA is hosting a work party at Viento State Park. This is a very exciting event as the CGKA has been given permission to remove all of the Scotch Broom and blackberry bushes that now choke the launch along with some of the cotton woods on the West side of the beach. Volunteers are advised to bring hand saws, loppers, rakes and gloves. Hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks will be provided by Rosaures Supermarkets so see you there… |

thanks for heading this up. it's been on my wish list for a while. now senior loopit won't get his kite stuck in the trees.
damn - i'm outta town this weekend and cannot help...... i love a little chainsaw action. |

Someone wade out and chop down that channel marker for me as well. No more wrapping up in that thing this year during the Blowout. Actually, I will just steer clear and if your in distress this year around that area... keep swimming, cause I ain't stopping!
