Randy Orzeck should be charged with multiple counts of swell slaying... Saturday at Arlington, the swell was full-on-crushing. Those strapless and super smooth starboard railgrabs are burned into my brain. Spencer and I couldn't get enough. Nicely done.

I speculated that it was going to honk out there--hell, the 3 mile forecast was for hazardous dust storms, 34-gusts to 46m. I bet all the small kite snobs were out killing it with the strong winds and (maybe) stronger water flow through the system.

Beautiful out there right now with the canyons greening up. Nice score.

The barge photo gives a good perspective of the size of the swell;

Randy, his buddy, Gman, Mark, actually everyone out there was holding their own. Those kinda days remind us how lucky we are to live around the Gorge.

For strapless riding in the eastern gorge's mack-size swell, what do the good peoples of nwkite recommend? I've got a 5'3" Pit which I'm confident is too small for me to ride strapless in those conditions (6', 190 ib.), but my next board sizes-up are a 6' trifin Slingshot proto and 6'2" Verve2 for strapless. I'd like to get a strapless high wind/big swell board. Recommendations? Thanks.
