I'd like to give Richi the benefit of the doubt; however, he does come accross as a kite pimp.
Nothing wrong wif being a kite pimp - just don't pose as an ordinary rider and then use that as an opportunity to pimp ur brand. Not cool.

Moto, you shudda seen his post before editing 3 times. Every other brand he "carefully" researched sucked for one reason or another, except for this "BRAND NEW" kite company he stumbled across. If he doesn't work for or directly benefit from said MAGIC company, I'll eat one of their kites.
You might think it's over reaching to call someone a lying piece of excrement, I think it's almost complimentary in this instance.
If he wasn't involved in this company, he wouldn't have backed the fuk up so rapidly.

I do not believe Danger is being hyptocritical.
The difference is that the Dangler is out in the public as a kite repair guy. He has never posted as an ordinary poster "Hey who has the best kite repairs in the gorge . . . its me!"
Richie - on the other hand posed as something he is not. He posed as an ordinary kiter looking for information and then used his post as a spring board to pimp his brand.
So - a public kite pimp = OK
a secret agent kite pimp = not ok (no reference to DP intended).
