Event Site parking pass?

When do they start requiring an Event Site parking pass? Last year if you bought your pass early you were able to buy it for $40 instead of $50. Does anyone know if that will be an option this year?

Port is raising their prices, but expect to see a better user experience as well. CGKA and Port are working pretty hard on this, been at it all Winter.

I think it's allowing the friends of the waterfront to protect the bird poop on the grass... no more mowing...

The details aren't quite final yet, but the main goal is a more organized launch at the Event Site. We're also making improvements at the Sandbar so it's a better high water launch. Finally, the Marina will have a simpler set of rules and be open permanently.

what improvements to the sand bar would improve it at high water other than having another huge flush come down the mountain to bring its elevation up!! just curious!!

Removal of the car blockage rock/concrete, widening of the ramp, trimming trees to get rid of wind shadow, removal of blackberry bushes.

Is there a season start date, or is it always running?

I see it is $5 a day now that I have looked at the site that was posted.

Gonna be there first weekend in May for 3 days, don't need a pass.
