"Flyoming" Video - I worked hard on this guy so...

Hi guys,

I just finished up this short snowkite film yesterday. I hope it has a little something for every kiter to enjoy. It's a result of hauling my camera and tripod around with me everywhere this season till now. Then I started pounding my head into my computer while editing. I even had my buddy flying me around in a Cessna for a few shots. My fingers have been frozen to my camera every session so take a second and check it out and give me a little feedback please. Really great work Will... I think you could have a career as a filmmaker if you wanted to. For this one, all the shots look great, the editing is solid, and nice attention to detail with the soundtrack/audio effects (good music choice too).

I'd love to see you bring it all together with more of a dialog, like your video "essay" that you did before. So maybe for a future project, think of bringing in the story of the experience along with all the action and scenic shots... keep them coming! Thumb's Up

Wow Will, just awesome. The way your capturing the nature and the exploritory aspects of what you guys are doing with the sound effects and the time lapse is striking. JHK's riding and flying is mind blowing as always.

Fantastic! Love the music and effects, not to mention the visuals. Plain to see the pain staking time put into the edit, worth it though for that output.

All new favorite best snow kite video ever. Great job editing and very smooth transitions considering the variety of places involved and variety of experiences depicted. Warren Miller quality.

You guys' trip into the Buffalo Plateau was inspirational enough. This is what snow kiting is and should be.

D-Krep, I probably will try to do something more involved with a dialogue. I too prefer a story rather than the porn style. I actually started it like that but I kept not liking how it was going with all the certain clips grouped together because of content rather than aesthetic. So just to get it done I did it more simply this go around. I also wanted it to be entertaining for non-kiters, and I think non-kiters aren't entertained with the soul of the sport at a personal level.

Yeah Weaz, I'm hoping to hit the NW Coast again, probably in the late summer or something like that. It's my favorite so far.
