Astotin lake , Elk Island National Park , Alberta Ca.
9m and lots of wind all day , lots of untouched snow , what a New years Treat 
There were some good ice heaves that had caught the snow so we had a few kickers too .
We were there at Daybreak nice to see the sun come up on the snow , best of all it was only -7*C with windchill incl.
I was wondering if Park Personnel would have any objections and apparently it's cool ! Skidoos and ATV's are not permitted in the National Parks . Nor can I run my Jet boat on the river past the Park Boundry .
Kiting is sooo cool even the bureaucrats leave it alone , so far
