Who can share a pic of their basement kite bar suspended from the ceiling? ...It's definitely basement kiting season here in the gorge. Here's a 4 year old with a grand daddy of a 14 year old today.
Kenja. Perhaps I need to see your setup?

My kids love their setup. I ended up using a bungee cord looped through a carabiner on the steering lines so they can sheet in and out and also have some resistance to simulate the kite pull during turning. They've spent countless hours playing on it and also have a couple boards they use to slide around while they swing. They alternate between unhooked and hooked to play with different moves. I've also hung it from the tree in my front yard to practice handle passes. Thanks again to Eric for giving me the extra bar and the kids harness. They've been well loved.

We did the bar in the living room, unhooked, with the Indo Board under it. All the kids loved it. Great way to start the stoke.
