Get in touch with your countrymen in Alaska , awesome snowkiting ! There are some great spots south of the 49th for sure but the extreme difference is a trip on it's own .
Check the spots section for your answer though . You will find it's as addicting as being on the water ! Enjoy .

Around the Gorge you have to hunt for decent snowkiting but no consistent spot has appeared yet, and not for lack of trying or interest.
A snowmobile is good to have available but planning a quick trip into Idaho or Southern Oregon (S.O.K.A) http://www.southernoregonkiteaddicts.com/ is your best bet for worthy scoring. Utah & Wyo as well. Cheap flights beat gas prices etc.
For those kiters that haven't ridden on snow yet try and make the effort this season because it's insane how good it can be.
