I'm planning on moving from Eugene to Hood River and am looking for recommendations on how to find a place to rent. Craigslist doesn't really seem to cover the area too well, so how should I go abou finding a place. As I understand it... one does not simply walk into Mordor?
Nothing fancy, just a spot for me and the world's laziest dog who has no interest in ever going to the Event site. |

put an ad in the classifieds section.
be specific - how much you want to pay and what you need - 1bdrm, pet friendly, etc. |

I will be looking forward to your "I am a local Hood River long time resident" post. These posts usually start approximately one week after you move to Hood River. In which all tourists are a pain in the ass everywhere from spit to the local pub. In about two months you can claim that you were born and raised in the Hood. _________________ It's all good |

Check out rental's in The Dalles as well as Da Hood. If you go to http://gorgenews.com/
This link will connect you to Hood River Paper, White Salmon, and The Dalles.
You'll get more for your money and have more sunny days if you live east of the Cascade Shelf.
Cheers,

Renting in HR is pretty hard, but it's possible. Good luck and welcome to the area! |

We've got an apartment for rent in Stevenson that is super dog friendly. Has a Tiki bar and a pool. Plus grass at the launch site year round.
