Have a windsurfing buddy with front row camp spot reserved for Maryhill this week. Can ya launch from those spots or too scetchy? I know Rufus is just down the road but might be nice to ride out the front door and a search for Maryhill did not turn up much info |

Yes, There is a launch at the west portion of the riverfront RV type spots. It's not too sketchy, but there is some trees up-wind that make the launch puffy (west wind). One of my favorite spots, with sweet campsites 100' from kiting. _________________ CGKA Member

The launch that Kip refers to should be considered as an advanced and non-self launch-able location.
It does have a steep shoreline and you will need to be careful not to snag any of the mooring buoys located about 30-40' just off of the beach.
Also, be wary of the kite muncher tree downwind of this launch.
The launch is do-able, but just be fully aware of the surrounding obstacles. _________________ Pure Stoke Sports
