Any tips or trick on preventing my kite from inverting when I crash (besides keeping line tension)? _________________ Steve

Keep the kite moving, don't let go of the bar unless your getting yanked too hard, or tomahawk it then relaunch? _________________ Switch Nitro II (8m, 10m, 12m)

Make sure you inflate the leading edge very hard, this will helpl it keep its shape in gusts. |

Some kites just invert better than others. My old kites would invert pretty much any time the lines went slack. So if I did a bad jump and the lines went slack for more than a second I was body dragging back to shore. My new kite doesn't invert ever. So for me the solution was a better (i.e. more modern) kite. I'm sure even with current generation kites some invert more often than others. _________________ Captain kook; always wrong. |
