Hello all. Just moved up here from Texas and looking forward to getting addicted to kiting!
I have been researching kites and boards and have a few questions. I am most likely going to buy a full quiver at once and not sure what to do.
Do I go for a 'beginner' kite, ex: Naish Ride, or an all around kite like the Park or the LF Envy?
Also, is it important to buy kites 'complete' if you are buying multiple kites in the same line? _________________ Jeff |

what makes this forum really great. It's not that we all sit around with novelties of kiteboarding but maybe we help somebody out with our information, or not.
My take is to get lessons. Learn to kite the right way and you will have fun and in the end spend less money on crap as you will know what to buy.
Buy new kites, or no more than 2 years old.
Take lessons and learn to body drag and self rescue.
Use a shower mat.
Don't use a leash.
Don't use drugs.
Do have fun. _________________ Hey, I'm being hahahahahrassed! |

Skip the Beginner type kites and go for the all-around types, like you mentioned (Park, Envy, Bandit, Lithium, RPM(?), etc.) |

Jeff t, have bulae give u lessons. He knows the various access points on the river and he is an instructor with a wave runner. Perfect combo! Once you take lessons getting a kite will be more meaningful to you. You should be out taking lessons at jones beach or the coast the next couple of days!! |
