FYI- Not that most riders should care.. But I will no longer be giving out or spamming Slingshot services or support. My affiliations with the company is over. Over 6+ year of Slingy knowledge, rider experience and soul just left the building..

*Just in case you were trying to or wondering why the hell hasn't he been pimpin lately..

*warranty items from my knowledge, so that if you have any of these issues don't come PMin to me... Thanks! I would make sure you have Rally scuff guards on all 2011 Rally's, Red bridles on the Link "if you have one", Early Compstick bars are fucked... Make sure to check the CL harness loops "metal can crack under load. IE bad weld point, Butter Box's cracking, loose bar ends and if you do have any older Compstick make sure to get the trim grommet. This will help trimming and prevent any damage to the Butter Box. All 2012 bolt on straps are not properly installed from the factory, so if you feel you need adjustment or don't have adjustment contact the SS crew and they can send you a PDF Bolt-On update. 2012 RPM' bridles are pretty funky too. Check them to see if there stretching? Also check your nipples and overstiching when you buy a new kite.. Most cases the kite blows up the first time its due to this... Give it a good once over before you pump it up and while your pumping make sure you nipples don't invert into the LE! If you have any problems or issues stated above contact Slingshot warranty or your local importer because you don't want safety problems that could ruin a session. I always hate that and so do you!

*Now off to better things, like actual riding...

Not sure of your circumstances but I am in a similar boat....not by choice. The upside is I have been riding an awful lot- more than ever. Something good is coming of this so hang in there.

I will miss your posts regarding all things SS. They were helpful.

No one will every deny your loyalty to Slingshot. You slept, ate, and bled Slingshot.
Your shoes will likely never be filled.

Now it's time to find out what else is going on in the world and of that, I'm sure you'll do well.

As a former Slingshot dealer, we used to handle a lot of needed parts/pieces adjustments and repairs, and you were one of the guys that always fixed and made things right for us.

Thank you

hey shymac best of luck on your next mission.
we've crossed paths in the past and you were def the man I could go to for anything SS.
Hoping they are just as successful without you on board, but man you were part of the foundation there.
good luck to both SS and Shy. see you on the water.

Hey Shy,
I remember when you helped me patiently rig my kite and launch me. I also remember coming into Storm Warning and bugging you guys about kiting and always feeling like it was possible. You have a talent for being egoless and kind to those who need answers.
SS will survive, but whomever gets to hire you is damn lucky. Thanks for selling me kites, and answering all of my stupid kooked out questions while making me feel normal, lol, or close.
Chris, you and Brave always made SW such nice place to hang out and visit. You did the same for SS and you'll do the same for your new digs as well.
All the best,

6 yrs is a good run, on to the next challenge. You were the face of SS & always went above & beyond to rep the brand. Hit me up anytime you make it down south.

Never met you, but your well thought of in many places outside the Gorge.

Shymac was the same as "Slingshot" for a lot of people... won't be the same brand without you!
