High pressure system on the coast and low in the east so it's looking decent tommorrow. Hard to say rest of week when weather channel changes the 10 day forcast every 5 minutes cause they are all high drinking to much shroom tea......

How's this afternoon looking. wind-finder is saying steady 12mph on their superfoercast. Enough for my 13m i think. What do you think Kocheese?

Bill has it pretty correct. Mid teens and inconsistent today, might hit upper teens for a couple hours. Enough to fly your 13m and mess around, maybe ride. High tide is 2:30 so that would help but it is a weak outgoing tide. This mornings out tide is hauling butt. If only the afternoon would be like that and you might have a chance for some half way decent riding.

Best bet for Tuesday is going postal on the coastal. I'm thinking downwinders to shipwreck in some fun 4ft swell or hit manzo, it will definitly be going. Gotta try out my new NSI hooks on my strapless surf board

If you go to Jones - be sure to bow to the new red bouy in the channel to pay tribute to the river Gods so that we have a good summer season at Jones........ Shocked

yep - Jones took off today like I hoped it would yesterday when I was there. Yesterday - it just kept teasing all afternoon and never really shaped up. If I had time to kite today - I would have gone to HR also. Looked like a better bet for solid wind. I hope you got out to Jones Weaz!

So much for the rain today that weather channel said would be here. Looks like jones picked up for a hour 30min of riding winds.

Yeah Dern I'm going to the coast tommorrow. Be there around 1pm. Hope to catch some of that 15ish mph wind at ft Stevens or manzo.

Also looks like it setting up to be a decent Kalama day tommorrow too. Makes it a tuff call were to ride but my surf board needs some wave love so ocean it is.

oG talked me into going to HR. rode the most I have ever had... Nice 3 hour session, learned a lot.. Mainly, I don't like the crowds, and get up wind of the sandbar ASAP to avoid the newbs (I am still one) that like to ride there kites high when they are down wind of you, or low when the are upwind... I did almost hug the red channel buoy about ten times.

Finally after being exhausted I ran through the obstacle course.. Looks fun slider crew.. And landed over at the marina. Thanks Doug for the ride back to the event site.

Just about right I'd say... through some mis-communication fluke I found myself alone at Jones, with completely kiteable winds for my 10m for about an hour & a half... a little spooky kiting alone, but still had a good time... plenty of wind on the far side too. When quenyaistar showed up, the wind dropped a fair bit, so he went out on his 14m and graciously allowed me to hog it for some more runs. Pretty good overall... the water was the smoothest its ever been for me there.
