This is generally true....but as a cycle shuts down (which it's about to do)...common to have wind at floras and no wind at pistol....day delay on shut down.
Sorry to report ....Weak low pressure offshore will be hanging around this weekend.....Does not look good at this point....
south wind.....and long period south swell coming to a beach near you....GB north jetty or downwinder from GB visitor center to south jetty....all iffy.
Follow the mm5 closer to weekend....

My Family and I will be headed down to the Bay Area, and will be at Floras Lake on Sunday/Sunday Night... and will have a full quiver of Blade Kites, along with the Fat Lady. 10-15 will be plenty for her, and I am more than happy to share.
We are on our way down to meet up with the rest of the Blade Crew for the Bay Area Blade Kite Invasion Tour.
We'll be in Manzanita all day Saturday and Saturday Night.... and plan on getting up really early so we can make it to Floras by noon time.

Looks like floras is marginal at best. I think i'm gonna go hit Roosevelt on Saturday and maybe bang on some of the Naish kites.
